Wheeler will be missed as chief deputy

I just read where (Colusa County) Chief Deputy Kevin Wheeler retired. I have known Kevin for 10 years and together we tag-teamed to put together the history of the Colusa County Sheriff’s Department from the 1860s to present. They are now in their fifth album and will be going for No. 6 in 2009.

He is a kind and wonderful man and was a professional at his job. The Sheriff’s Department the county of Colusa will miss him. I wish him and his family well in his retirement and Godspeed.
