UPDATE: Stonyford woman ID'd as crash victim
An off-duty firefighter saw skid marks and stopped to find a 1998 Toyota Camry at the bottom of a ravine along Sites Lodoga Road Monday afternoon.
Valarie Ann Graham, 47, of Stonyford, was declared dead at the scene following an accident the California Highway Patrol said happened sometime around 10 a.m.
The firefighter discovered the wreck about 1:15 p.m.
The Toyota was eastbound at an unknown rate of speed when it veered off the road to the right, then crossed over both lanes and went down the steep embankment and landed on its roof at the bottom of the ravine, the CHP reported.
No other vehicles appear to be involved in the accident, and alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors either.
The accident happened about 3.2 miles east of Maxwell-Sites Road.
