UPDATE: Fairfield woman ID'd as Williams crash victim
The victim of Wednesday’s single-vehicle crash in Williams has been identified as Juana Cisneros, 63, of Fairfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers were dispatched to the scene two miles north of Hahn Road on Lone Star Road at about 1:50 p.m. after Cisneros crashed going north at an unknown speed in a 1990 Toyota sedan.
She allowed her vehicle to drift from the northbound lane into the southbound, according to the report.
The car eventually collided with a guardrail and went airborne, until the left side of the car hit an embankment and caused the vehicle to roll. The car ended up rolling back onto its wheels under a bridge in a dry canal bed, west of Lone Star Road.
Cisneros was wearing the shoulder portion of her seatbelt, but not the lap belt, the report said.
The accident is under investigation.
