School news: Alumni games start Saturday

The second annual Williams High School Alumni Games, a Brown and Gold fundraiser, will start Friday with the classes of 1970-2010 taking the court at 6 p.m., followed by the classes of 2011 and 2012 taking on the class of 2013 at 7.

Men's games will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday with the classes from the 1980s; 1990s at 6; classes of 2000-10 beginning at 7; and the classes of 2011 and 2012 competing at 8.

The cost is $5 per player; and $3 for spectators, Williams High School gym, 222 11th Street, Williams.

Kindergarten registration slated

Williams Elementary School will hold its kindergarten registration on Feb. 27.

Children must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 1 to enroll for the fall of 2013.

A parent or guardian must be present with the child's birth certificate, a current immunization record, and proof of residency. Child must also be present.
