"American Pickers" seeks your stuff
Jodi Friedman, the producer of the History Channel show "American Pickers," has announced theirr stars, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, are headed to California.
"We are looking for leads throughout the state, specifically interesting characters with interesting items and lots of them," said Friedman.
"We want any oddball or interesting historical items, in addition to California specific memorabilia."
Items the show is not looking for includes farming/agriculture equipment, tools, glassware, appliances, tractors, crocks, stoves or country primitives.
"But we are open to almost anything of unique interest," Friedman said. "Mike and Frank only pick private collections so no stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public."
She explained the show is looking for large collections of "stuff," and not "a little here and a little there."
"American Pickers," in its fourth season, follows Wolfe and Fritz as they travel across the country in a pickup on a mission to find America's most fascinating and valuable antiques and treasures that have been long forgotten in junkyards and barns.
Anyone with treasures, antiques and junk they think may be of interest to the show can call Friedman at 646-873-6528 or contact him at JFriedman@cineflix.com.
