Arbuckle honors high STAR scores

More than 200 students were honored for their high 2008 STAR test scores April 20 at Arbuckle Elementary School to motivate them to keep improving. Awards were given in three different categories: students who improved their scale scores, students who moved from up a proficiency level and students who scored above 400 points in language, arts and math.
The school honored 91 students this year for reaching the 400 mark. This included six students who scored perfectly in math: Luke Williams, Riley Voorhees, Odalys Sanchez, Alejandro Saavedra and Marina Delgadillo.
