Williams robbery suspect at large
Williams Police are searching for a Hispanic male they believe robbed a Williams hotel at gunpoint around midnight on Thursday.
According to police reports, a Hispanic male about 20-25 years old, entered the Comfort Inn lobby on the 400 block of “C” Street and brandished a handgun and demanded the contents of the crash drawer. The employee complied with the demand and the suspect fled on foot southbound with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A manhunt, coordinated with the Colusa Sheriff’s office and the California Highway Patrol, yielded no results and the suspect is still at large.
The suspect is described as Hispanic male, medium build, dark hair and eyes 20-25 years old, about 6-foot tall and weighing 200 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, white gloves, and a blue and white bandana covered the lower portion of his face.
