John and Margaret Alves celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on Sept. 23. The couple were joined by their family for dinner at Louis Cairo's restaurant in Williams. The Alves have four sons, David, Ron, John and Mike, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
