Colusa County Legion baseball clinic

The Colusa County Channel Cats American Legion baseball team is hosting its annual free youth baseball clinic Saturday at the Maxwell Baseball Complex.

Children ages 8-to-14 are welcome to attend the event which is sponsored by Nor-Cal Baseball Academy and will receive hitting, pitching, catching, and infield and outfield defense from Channel Cats players and coaches.

The registration for the clinic begins at 9:30 a.m., and the clinic runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a snack bar and donations are accepted.

Players 12-year-old and older will have the opportunity to participate in a full-scale high school practice.

Little League coaches are invited to attend to learn practice habits and techniques.
