Colusa County's best take the field
The best softball players from Colusa Area and Westside Little Leagues take their diamond skills to the District 2 All-Star Tournaments this weekend.
The Minor Division tournament begins on Sunday at 6 p.m. for the Colusa team against Sutter Buttes and at 8 p.m. for the Westside team against Olivehurst-Linda at Wheatland Little League's Tom Abe Field.
Peach Bowl Little League hosts the Major Division tournament which began Friday with a game between Colusa and Sutter Area. Westside's first game begins at 8 p.m. today against Wheatland.
Colusa opens the Junior Division tournament on Tuesday at 6 p.m. against Peach Bowl at the Colusa Little League Field.
In the Senior Division, Colusa plays South Shore at 8 p.m. on Monday at the Colusa Little League Field.
Westside doesn't have a Junior or Senior division team.
