Colusa 61, Global Youth Center 31
Hayden Bailey sank four 3-pointers and the Colusa High varsity boys basketball team beat Global Youth Charter on Saturday to close the Golden Sierra Mountain Classic with back-to-back victories.
Colusa (6-8) led 33-8 at the half and 11 RedHawks scored. Bailey led the team with 17 points, Destin Smith scored 12, R.J. Phillips had nine and Favian Grageda added eight points for the RedHawks.
Colusa 60, Rio Vista 48
Kevin Buenrostro bolstered his all-tournament resume with a 20-point game against Rio Vista on Friday during Colusa's victory in the Golden Sierra Mountain Classic.
Bailey added 13 points, Phillips chipped in eight, and Smith and Luke Corriea scored six points each.
Foresthill 51, Colusa 48
The RedHawks struggled to slow the Foresthill offense in the second half, losing after holding a five-point lead at halftime.
Phillips led Colusa with 17 points, Grageda added 13 and Eric Barrera scored six points.
Pierce 57, Williams 36
Pierce (7-4) entered the winter break with a convincing win against Williams (6-5) on Thursday in Arbuckle.
