Maxwell High ran away with a victory in the second game of a doubleheader on Friday in Hayfork, completing the Panthers' undefeated run through the Five Star League slate of games.
The Panthers (18-1, 10-0) smashed nine extra-base hits against the defending league champions in the final game of the regular season.
Andi Robledo and Madison Wells drove in two runs apiece and Robledo scored three times.

The Panthers led 9-1 before the Timberjacks rallied for five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning during the first game of the doubleheader.

Ewing, Ashley McMartin and Miranda Perez each went 2 for 2 and Gaby Rodriguez gave up one hit and struck out two in three innings pitched.
The Eagles (8-7-2, 6-4-2 Evergreen) won the final four games of the regular season and finished in fourth place out of nine teams in the Evergreen League.
