Colusa JV girls earn Pierce Tourney crown

The Colusa High junior-varsity girls defeated all comers to win the championship of the JV division at the 26th Pierce Invitational Girls Basketball Tournament, held last weekend in Arbuckle.
They defeated Esparto 45-34, Live Oak 37-25, and Williams 36-24 in the title game.
Their record for the season stood at 5-3 as they entered play in this weekend's Hamilton City Tournament.
