The Bears (4-3) took a 25-1 lead into halftime and defeated visiting Esparto (0-6) on Friday.
Macey Cox led Pierce with 16 points and 10 steals, Ellen Hansen added 12 points, and Marina Ambriz scored eight.

The Bears led 24-2 after the first quarter and defeated visiting Esparto (1-4) on Friday in Arbuckle.
Andy Corona led Pierce with 16 points, Hayden Kalfsbeek added 14 points and Joe Howard scored 11.
Williams 61, Princeton 49
The Yellowjackets (6-4) overcame a slow start to beat Princeton (1-7) on Saturday in the Biggs Tournament.
Oscar Espinoza scored 11 points for Princeton, and Rod Angus chipped in nine. Gavino Mitchum, Salvador Gutierrez and Eduardo Valencia scored eight points.

Princeton 48, Westwood 41
The Eagles picked up their first victory of the season with a win against Westwood in the second round of the Biggs Tournament on Friday.
Espinoza led Princeton with 16 points, Valencia added 12 points and Mitchum scored eight points and had a team-high eight rebounds.
Biggs 62, Princeton 32
A big second quarter by Biggs doomed Princeton on Thursday in the opening round of the Biggs Tournament.
Gutierrez led the Eagles with 13 points, six rebounds and two blocked shots. Angus chipped in seven points and Mitchum added four.
Biggs 61, Williams 57
Williams led 48-41 at the end of three quarters, but Biggs rallied back and won 61-57 on Friday in the Biggs Tournament.
