Princeton done in by Dunsmuir

The sixth-seeded Princeton Eagles took to the road Friday to tackle the No. 3 Dunsmuir Tigers in the opening-round of the Division VI football playoffs. The hosts built up a 33-6 halftime lead, and the deficit was too much for Princeton to overcome, as they fell 59-22 to end their season 2-8.

Dunsmuir put up 120 passing yards and three TDs through the air, while rushing for 296 yards and four scores. Nate Gonzales led the rushing attack with 152 yards in 24 attempts, and the pesky Tigers defense recorded eight sacks.

Princeton statistics were not available before press time.
