Lamson reserve all-around cowgirl

Rylee Lamson of Corning earned reserve all-around cowgirl honors at the District 1 California High School rodeo.

Lamson was first in breakaway roping and second in barrell racing en route to winning her honor. She also was fifth in team roping with partner Brady Carlson.

Among the Tri-County area participants were Jenna Price of Orland and Cody Parker of Williams.

Price won the goat tying event and finished sixth in breakaway roping.

Parker was second in boys cutting and teamed with Adam Andreini to finish eighth in team roping.
