Sports Brief: Jordan Hillis "Support the Youth" Basketball Tournament

The first Jordan Hillis "Support the Youth" Basketball Tournament will take place Jan. 5-6 at the Colusa Casino Gym. The tournament was created in memory of Colusa High senior Jordan Hillis who was killed in a car accident on Sept. 21. Proceeds from the tournament go to the Jordan Hillis Fund and will support local youth athletes who show the desire to compete, and who would otherwise not be able to due to financial hardship.

The tournament will be put on by Indigenous Circles United, the Colusa High basketball program, John Barron, Sara Barron and family. There will be an open division and co-ed division in the tournament, and registration is $100 per team.
