Seniors pumped for all-star hoops fest
Just when you thought you had seen the last of your high school hoops heroes, some of them are going to suit up one more time to play in the 17th annual Double Pump Northern Section All-Star Basketball Game on Sunday at Pleasant Valley High School in Chico.
The contest features 48 of the top senior high-school girls and boys basketball players from the Northern Section. The girls game is scheduled for 4 p.m. with the boys to follow at 6 p.m. Cost is $5 at the door.
Scott Gallion of Fall River is coaching the North boys team against the south squad coached by Chester's Joe Gilmour.
Julie White of West Valley is leading the North girls and Erin Walton of Live Oak helms the South.
