Williams Recreation youth wrestling

The Williams Recreation Division is currently holding registration for its youth wrestling program. Wrestlers in grades 7-8 will practice Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Grapplers from Kindergarten-6th grade practice Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. from Feb. 20-March 29 at the "Old Gym" at 1491 E Sreet.

The cost is $25 and sign-ups are being done Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Williams City Hall Annex, 464 8th St.

Montejano returns to Gladiator Challenge

Colusa mixed martial artist Kevin Montejano (1-1) is set to fight Christian Rios on Friday on the Gladiator Challenge Super Fight Night card at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln.

Montejano won his last fight with an up-kick TKO in the first round against Tony Dominguez. Doors open at 6 p.m. and fights start at 7 p.m.
