Willows jr. high basketball tourney
The Willows Recreation Department/Willows Lions Club 19th annual 7th and 8th grade basketball tournament is being
held Nov. 20-22 at the Willows Intermediate School.
All games will feature six-minute quarters except the
championship game, which will go to seven-minute periods.
Price of admission is $4 for adults and $1 for students.
First round match-ups for both 7th and 8th grades are: Palermo v. Nelson, 12 p.m.; Central v. Durham, 1:05 p.m.; Willows
v. Notre Dame, 2:10 p.m.; and C.K. Price v. March Jr., 3:15 p.m.
First-round games for 7th-graders are Nov. 20; 8th-graders
begin play Nov. 21.
Chico State Wildcat baseball camp
Chico State is holding its annual Wildcat Baseball Holiday
Camp Dec. 21-23.
Under the direction of Dave Taylor, Chico State head
baseball coach, campers will experience three days of intense learning and fun
competition. The camp is available to children ages 6-12 of all skill levels,
will run from 12-4 p.m. and costs $100.
Each session consists of professional instruction, stressing
the fundamentals of hitting, pitching, catching and infield and outfield
defense.

Former 49er/Raider signing autographs
Dave Wilcox, linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers will be
signing free photographs and autographs Nov. 23-24 at Jack's Lounge in the
Colusa Casino Resort.
Known as "The Intimidator" for his aggressive style of play,
Wilcox played for the 49ers from 1964-74, was named All-NFL five times and was
a seven-time Pro Bowl selection.
