Thanks to funds raised through philanthropy at Sutter Medical Foundation, cutting-edge technology helped save the life of Wheatland High School football player Tyler Zepp.
Tyler Zepp, Wheatland High School Pirates' designated quarterback this season, scored 2 touchdowns Oct. 9 after his cardiologist allowed him two plays. Six days later he underwent heart surgery. Oct. 18, 2009.
