Firefighters from Marysville, Yuba City and Linda salute the remains of William Porter, of East Nicolaus, a Sacramento City Fire engineer who drowned in Camp Far West Reservoir. Marysville police also attended. Thursday, May 24, 2012.
The house was a two-story dilapidated Victorian off Highway 70 north of Marysville. The second story was already involved when firefighters arrived and the decision was made to not expend the resources because it was not salvageable.
